VIDEO: Miracle League Field Funded By Buffalo Sabres Hockey Team Has Its First Game

The Miracle League is awesome. Children with disabilities who wouldn’t otherwise be able to compete in team sports are given the opportunity to play baseball. Miracle League fields are specially customized to include a completely flat, rubberized surface to eliminate any obstacles for visually impaired or wheelchair bound children. The fields also include dugouts that are wheel chair accessible. Miracle League fields continue to open all across the country. The most recent of which opened in Buffalo thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Buffalo Sabres and their NHL Alumni. Take a look at the report from WIVB in Buffalo.
