Willie “Curly” Williams a one time star in the Negro Leagues had died at age 86. Williams was an infielder for the Newark Eagles, Houston Eagles, and the New Orleans Eagles in the Negro Leagues in the late 40’s and early 50’s before a brief stint in the Chicago White Sox organization and a near decade long run playing baseball in Canada.
