Juan Carlos Paniagua talks about how his $1.6 million contract with the New York Yankees was voided when he was caught on the wrong side of Major League Baseball’s screening process. Finally, Luis Coronado, who Oviedo says helped him become Leo Nunez, talks about how rampant identity change was prior to major league baseball’s crackdown. Yankees Triple-A Team To Play 2012 “Home Games” In Six Cities

With PNC Field in Scranton scheduled to be closed for renovations in 2012, the team had hoped to move their 2012 season to another stadium. Their first choice was to play in Newark, New Jersey however that move was blocked by the New York Mets who enforced their territorial rights blocking the move. With no other options, the Yankees have settled on having their Triple-A franchise play their 72 game home schedule at six different stadiums in 2012. The team offices will be based in Rochester where they will play 37 games. The team will also play six games in Buffalo, ten games in Syracuse, four games in Pawtucket, eight games at Lehigh Valley, and seven games in Batavia. It will be interesting to see if the club has a hard time signing minor league free agents this season, as for all purposes, the season is pretty much an entire year on the road. You can read all about the schedule and hear the Yankees spin on the situation via the story link below.

This is the first fan video to surface from inside Tropicana Field when Evan Longoria hit his Walk Off Home Run against the Yankees that won the Wild Card for the Tampa Bay Rays. VIDEO: Jaiden Delgado Is The Best 3 Year Old Baseball Player You Will See Today

Check this kid out. Three year old Jaiden Delgado takes some hacks off a tee while his proud father records. Seeing as I probably couldn’t do what Jaiden is doing when I was like 10, I’ve got to give the kid props. Pretty impressive for a little guy. He gets some solid line drive contact swinging a bat that is about as big as he is. Then in the second clip Jaiden moves on to fielding where he fields rapid fire ground balls. If his New York Yankees shirt is any indication, you can expect to see him in the Bronx around the year 2030 🙂

VIDEO: Wade Boggs Talks About Coming Up Through The Minors And Gets Insulted By A Blue Jays Fan

Not sure where this was filmed, but Red Sox, Yankees, & Rays Hall Of Famer Wade Boggs talks to what, from the sound of the applause at the start of the clip, is a pretty small crowd in what appears to be a classroom of some sort. He talks about getting his education in the minor leagues, his big league career, and in perhaps the most entertaining part of the video, gets shown up by a Blue Jays fan who prefaces his question by reminding Boggs the Blue Jays won back to back World Series in 1992 & 1993. If you want to fast forward to the Blue Jays fan, his question comes at the about the 4:30 mark.
