Philadelphia 76ers 1985 Road Jersey - #34 Charles Barkley
Mitchell & Ness In 1984, the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers picked Charles Barkley out of Auburn University in the first round of the NBA draft. Barkley, who was nicknamed ‘the round mound of rebound’ because of his weight problems at Auburn, made the all rookie team for the Sixers as he averaged 14.9 points per game. Barkley, while playing along side the great Julius Erving, developed into one of the games toughest competitors as he helped lead the Sixers to the 1984-1985 Eastern Conference Finals.
