As we are now halfway into the season and the signing deadline for 2012 draft picks has passed, here is my revised list of top 5 prospects in the Texas Rangers organization.

Remember, a prospect must have fewer than 130 ABs or 50 IP in the Major Leagues to qualify.

1) Jurickson Profar – SS

4) Cody Buckel – P
Highest Level: AA Frisco Roughriders
2012 Stats:
MILB: 7-8, 2.69ERA, 117IP, 44BB, 129K, .204BAA

5) Joey Gallo – 3B
Highest Level: Rookie League AZL Rangers
2012 Stats:
MILB: .308, 9(2B), 1(3B), 15HR, 37RBI
