As we are now halfway into the season and the signing deadline for 2012 draft picks has passed, here is my revised list of top 5 prospects in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.

Remember, a prospect must have fewer than 130 ABs or 50 IP in the Major Leagues to qualify.

2012 Stats:

4) Starling Marte – OF
Highest Level: MLB Pittsburgh Pirates
2012 Stats:
MLB: .250, 2HR, 4RBI
MILB: .286, 21(2B), 13(3B), 12HR, 62RBI, 21SB

5) Josh Bell – OF
Highest Level: Low-A West Virginia Power
2012 Stats:
