It could have been one of the worst tragedies ever to occur in minor league baseball, when earlier this month the Williamsport Crosscutters team bus crashed and dangled precariously over a Staten Island Expressway guard rail. Had the bus gone inches further the entire team would have plummeted to the highway many feet below.
